I thank you for accepting me into your group...I'm not a beginner at Genealogy but I 'm not a Master either...I can see it's gonna be a trick for me to learn to navigate your site, so please bear with me.
The name that I'm focusing on is my own surname (PAUL).
I know the name of my G Grandfather--James (PAUL)...he was born the 11th of Feb. 1870 in Bracken Co. Kentucky...he was married to Caroline (LEMING)...James (PAUL) and wife moved to Lawrence Co. Ark;...they owned about 300 acres of land near the Black River. James fought in the Civil War with the 34th Ohio Inf;...James died about 1884 and is buried in Blackwater twp. Lawrence Co. Ark.
Caroline and their children moved from Ark., and settled in Phelps Co. Missouri...the family grew here, I can expand on the family here if it will help anyone on here...
I'm not certain, but I have seen James (PAUL'S) parents as...John (PAUL) born about 1800 in Virginia;, and Susannah (DEMOSS)...BORN the 17th of March 1804 in Kentucky...they were married the 7th of August 1833...they both died about 1850.
My head hurts from banging it on the same wall for 10+ years...so if anyone can help me on this I will most grateful.
I have several names in my tree that may be of help to some of you, allow me to list a few...(MORSE, BAKER, HARRINGTON, WEBSTER, LEMING, GIST), to name a few...
