The purpose of this site is to document information about Christopher Main (1774-1866) and his wife Amelia Weaver (1778-1841). The site is intended to be a resource for their descendants and to solicit information that will solve the mystery of who their parents were and where they came from. While Christopher is supposedly from Stonington CT, no record has yet placed him there. The first mention of him, to be found to date, is as a witness to a deed in Chenango County New York in 1802.
