My name is Maggie I have 4 children, 13 G-children and 8 GG-children.
I'm the third of seven children retired, and loving it.
My hobbies are Genealogy, Quilting and Voluteer work.
I became interested in genealogy very late in my familys life.
I say that to say, out of 10 aunts and uncles only 3 were alive
when I began my materal research. It's been a cliff hanger.
I found my GG-parents on the 1900-census and my G-parents on the
1920-census.
The surnames I'm researching are: Nailor, Rice, Anderson, Davis
Wilson and Deal just to name a few. From Vicksburg Warren County, MS.
to "Deal" in Tallulah Madison Parish, Louisana.
Quilting is a relaxing and expensive hobby I started back in 1994.
My favorite to do are the baby quilts, maybe because they're easier to handle.
For now I do volunteer work indexing the arrival of emigrants to the USA.
It fits in with genealogy to read the volumes of data being send to the
internet for someone to someday look-up.
