We have been researching our family since the early 1970s. We have traveled extensively through Indiana, Ohio, and Virginia to visit the dusty courthouse records, the overgrown cemeteries and to search the elusive relationships.
We are constantly updating our skills with conferences, seminars, and reading. We have our favorite genealogy libraries including the Huntington (IN) Public Library's Indiana Room, the Allen Co Public Library, and the Library of Michigan.
We teach beginning family history research at our public library in the spring and in the fall. Though our public library has a limited genealogy collection, their computer room is a wonderful resource for beginners.
We monitor closely Ancestry.com, FamilySearch.org and Gencircles.com. We are delighted to discover WeRelate.org.
