I am working on the line of Charles Wesley Case born <1808> m. Matilda Jewell Davis 1835 in Gallia, Ohio. They moved to southern Illinois about 1840. In about 1850 they moved near to Pawnee City, Nebraska. Charles and Matilda had 4 children: Nehemiah Thomas Case b 1836 in Ohio; Charles A. b <1839> Ohio; Edward b <1842>, and ?
Nehemiah Thomas Case (above) was a Civil War vet from a Union cavalry unit in Illinois. He married 3 times: Ruth Rose Cramp m 1855 Illinois; Nancy Clark m 1863; and Lovina Lucas m 1867. Lovina and Thomas had 16 children: Henry, Harry, Charles Wesley, Ellen, Eva, George Washington, Nellie, Lovina, Nehemiah Jr., Mary, Ina, John Wesley, Benjamin, Arthur, Hellen (Nellie), and Zelma Dora.
