Researching the family and descendants of James Blair (1755-1810) and Catherine King. James, his wife, and seven known children obtained land grants in eastern Tennessee and were involved in the formation of both Hawkins and Grainger County governments. Descendants moved into Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Texas, Idaho, and elsewhere.
