Researching on the PATERNAL side: WILLIAMS,KNEISLEY,SHINKLE,MCGLASSON,STUBBLEFIELD,CLAYTON,HARRISON,PEERE. Also, my spouse's family: LEWIS, DANIEL, BROCK, WARNER, and DECOU. I have many collaterals and have gone back from KENTUCKY through VIRGINIA [late 1600's] to GREAT BRITIAN. With such a common name and with the naming patterns I have found, there are many duplicate names in all families and lines. This makes definite proof difficult in some instances.
On the MATERNAL side:
HAAS, KAMMERER, THONEY and others, although details have not been traced too far.
