Hello Cousins, Surnames that I'm researching: Follansbee, Hoxie, Duguid, Walsh (I know!), Fennelly, Pettingell. I started researching my family tree about 10 years ago, around 1998+/-. I am completely & totally obsessed with researching my family & anyone else who requests assistance. I have lived on the U.S. East Coast all my life. I was born in Dorchester, MA in 1951 ,(living on Norwell St),and baptized at St Leo's Church on Norwell St., Dorchester,MA. When I was about 3 my family moved to 11 Simpson Ave,Somerville, MA. About 2 years later we packed up & moved to Plum Island, Newburyport, MA. We lived on the island for about 20 + years. When I married, my husband & I lived in Melrose, MA where we had our first son, John in 1970. My husband was from the Melrose area. Later, we moved to Raymond, NH near where his mother was then living with his sister, Wendy. We lived in Raymond (3 different locations)for about 13 years. I now live in Exeter, NH for the last 16+/- years. Exeter, NH is a beautiful & an historically rich New England town founded in 1638. About 4 years ago I was most fortunate when a wonderful 'lost' cousin contacted me via the internet. I had posted my family tree on the web and my cousin, Jack, found it & realized that we were cousins & emailed me. At the time he & his wife lived on the Pacific Coast but were planning a trip East to see other family members & we planned to meet. It was a wonderful get together as my 2 older sisters were also part of it. Since then Jack & his wife have moved to Exeter, NH, 2 miles from my house! We get together for day trips to homes of our ancestors. Jack's mom who was a teacher & principal was a very wise women & kept well documented records of her family memories and lots of old photographs. She even preserved an old needlepoint sampler that our great great great grandmother, Lydia Noyes of Newbury,MA, had made at the age of 13! Enough for now! Thanks for stopping by, Cheryl Follansbee-Hoxie
