Be it remembered, that on the 17th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine the following marriage license was issued by the Clerk of the Parke Circuit Court, to-wit: State of Indiana, Parke County, Sct: The State of Indiana to any person empowered by law to solemnize marriages in said county, Greeting: You are hereby duly authorized to join together as husband and wife Robert Tayler and Ama Mary Goldizen In testimony whereof, I, John G. Davis, Clerk of the Parke Circuit Court, have hereunto set my hand, and affixed the seal of said court, at Rockville, this 17th day of April A. D. 1849. John G. Davis Clerk. And afterwards, to-wit: on the 17th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine, Scott Noel returned to and filed in the office of the clerk of said court the following certificate, to-wit: State of Indiana, Parke county, Sct: I, Scott Noel a Justice of the Peace in said county, do certify that on the 17th day of April, 1849, I joined together as husband and wife Robert Tayler and Ama Mary Goldizen Given under my hand this 17th day of April 1849.
