This template appears obsolete given the new Family Tree popup for use on person pages? Perhaps a note indicating that on the instructions would be a good idea?--Amelia 12:11, 6 September 2011 (EDT) I think people will still find this useful. Having it on one's user page seems popular. Please help [14 April 2020]

I have looked at this template and I do like it for user pages in particular I have tried unsuccesfully to play with it and create Template:Pedigree5 to use for my Onto the Seventh Generation project so that when I or others do an index page for their seventh generation project they could use this template.

My page for my project is at User:JeffreyRLehrer/Seventh Generation Lehrer O'Sullivan however for a cousin who has asked me about helping with their tree and my daughters 7 gen project I would like to use the Pedigree5 template so that you start with grandparents and then head back from there on the index page.
