Lower Macungie Township is a township in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The township's population was 32,426 as of the 2020 Census,^[1] making it the second largest population center in Lehigh County after Allentown.

As of 2020, the township is the third largest population center in the Lehigh Valley metropolitan area following Allentown and Bethlehem, which has a population of 861,899 and is the third largest populated metropolitan region in Pennsylvania and 68th most populated metropolitan area in the U.S..

Lower Macungie Township is southwest of Allentown, northwest of Philadelphia, and west of New York City.
