Charlotte Jane Sarah Walsh (ca 1767 – 1848) married Joseph Grimstead, son of Thomas and Charlotte Grimstead and had a daughter, Charlotte Grimstead who was the mother of Thomas Lyon-Bowes, 12th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Claude Bowes-Lyon, 13th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, making Charlotte Jane Sarah Walsh an ancestor of Queen Elizabeth II.

Her major interest in her grandchildren was Claude Bowes-Lyon, 13th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne whom she was very close to until she died of old age in 1848 aged 81.
