I have 80,000 names on my Ancestry.com family tree but haven't gotten beyond my ggg grandfather, Nicholas Cranmer. He and his wife, Mary Ogden were next door neighbors to Mary Ogden's parents, Gilbert and Mary Ogden in 1790 in Ulysses, Thompkins Co., New York. On 18 JAN 1814, their first son, Gilbert W. Cranmer was born where they were living in Newfield, Tompkins Co, New York. In 1822, Nicholas and his family moved to Tioga Co. New York where Nicholas died in 1825 leaving his wife, Mary Ogden, and 8 children. The only known names of the children were Gilbert and Nathan Cranmer. There was a Nicholas Cranmer who got married in 1810 in New Jersey but I don't know of a connection to the New York family.--Wisepop 03:29, 9 December 2008 (EST)
