Surname:Halfhill

Several descendants of Person:Matthias Halfhill (2), who was probably born as Matthias Halberg, have used the surname "Hatfield". We have no explanation except a guess that they chose it as their "Americanized" spelling of Halberg. Some chose Halfhill, some chose Hatfield.
