Usage Tips

The book was reprinted in 1981 by Hebert Publications of Eunice, Louisiana. A separate citation is not needed for the reprint as it is an identical reproduction of the original.

This book details the Odyssey of the two groups of Acadians who had been deported to England in 1755 or directly to France in 1758. They and their descendants eventually made their way to Louisiana in 1785 where they were settled by the Spanish government.
