Usage Tips

A few years ago I found a Family Bible at the Family History Library in Salt Lake that not only had information concerning John Melchezidec Cutliff of Georgia and his wife Mary Shackleford Jones but also listed slaves they owned.

I have recently gone back to the library and copied all the pages of the bible containing family information. Also if anyone wants to order the microfilm to look at the film number is 381975 and item on the film is number 15 not 13 as listed in the card catalog. Here is my attempt at a transcription of those concerning the Cutliffs starting with John Melchezidec and Mary Shackleford Jones (the slave holders). This bible belonged to the family of Mary I believe.
