Usage Tips

George Giddings, the progenitor of the principal Giddings line in North America, was born at Clapham, Bedfordshire, England, on 24 September 1609. On 20 February 1634 he married Jane Lawrence. On 2 April 1635 George and Jane sailed on the ship 'Planter' for the Massachusetts Bay Colony. George died at Ipswich on 1 June 1676 and Jane died 2 March 1680.
