The Family History Library is probably the world's largest genealogy library, with several hundred thousand books and over two million rolls of microfilm. It is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Access is free to the public.

Most of the microfilms can be checked out for a nominal fee through a worldwide network of local Family History Centers.
