From FHC Film notes: "John Luther was born in about 1595 to 1605. He was probably born in Great Canford, Dorset, England. He emigrated in about 1634. He married Elizabeth Turner and they lived in Dorchester, Massachusetts. They had two sons, Samuel (1636-1716) and Hezekiah (ca. 1640-1723). Descendants and relatives are widely dispersed throughout the United States."
