Catalog Description: Thomas Bingham (1642-1730), son of Thomas Bingham and Ann Fenton Bingham. The younger Thomas emigrated with his widowed mother from England to Saybrook, Connecticut in 1659, and settled at Norwich, Connecticut. In 1666, Thomas married Mary Rudd (1649-1659) in Norwich. Their children were Jonathan, Ann, Abigail, Nathaniel, Deborah, Samuel, and Joseph. After living in Norwich for 33 years, Thomas moved his family to the new settlement of Windham, Connecticut in 1693. It was there he and Mary were buried. Later descendants lived throughout the United States and Canada. Includes some ancestry in Ireland and England.
