This site appears to be the official site for the local Amport Parish Council based on the its copyright. The site is devoted to local information about the village and parish of Amport, the parish also containing East Cholderton, which the authors indicate is missing from most maps of the region. Though there is a "Family History" page, devoted to local families, there is very little information available at present. The local church, St. Mary's Church, was constructed c.1330, but the congregation pre-dates this structure by at least 100 years.
