Histopolis is a source for genealogy and history information including links to other relevant sites. Think of it as "place tagging" your genealogy content.

The initial focus of the site is on compiling information on the cemetries in the US. Our database currently includes information on 125,000 cemeteries in the United States and Puerto Rico including the map location for most cemeteries.

In addition to cemeteries, our database includes information on over 200,000 cities, towns, villages, townships, counties and states. Each place can contain links to sites with relevant genealogy or history information associated with the place.

Histopolis announces that it now has more than 125,000 links to quality, place-specific genealogy resources. Many thanks to those that contributed to this achievement!
