Deletion Warning

No part of New Orleans has ever been located in Jefferson Parish. When Orleans Parish was formed in 1807, its boundaries were explicitly stated as being coterminous with the city of New Orleans. If anyone has better information (with documentation), please post it here. In the absence thereof, I will delete this place page in ten days. --Mike (mksmith) 14:10, 3 October 2009 (EDT)
