Coalpit may be Cowpits [17 March 2013]

The only family in What Links Here is the Archibalds, presented by User:Lana a2000. The father of the Archibald born in Coalpit was born in Cowpits. It could well be the same place with Coalpit having been mis-transcribed. --goldenoldie 12:33, 17 March 2013 (EDT)

Confirmation re Coalpits [21 March 2013]

I am assured by User:Lana a2000 that Coalpits is across the River Esk from Cowpits, but I cannot find it on a map. --goldenoldie 09:44, 21 March 2013 (EDT)
