Wonford Hundred included the City of Exeter, its environs, and a further number of parishes to the east and west of the city. It is #32 on the map.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Wonford Hundred from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"WONFORD, a hundred in the centre of Devon; containing 32 parishes and a part. Acres: 94,888. Population in 1851: 30,233; in 1861: 29,240. Houses: 5,847."

GENUKI provides a longer description from White's History, Gazetteer, and Directory of Devonshire of 1850.

NOTE: East Wonford and West Wonford are two hamlets in the parish of Milton Damerel, considerably northwest of Wonford Hundred. They have been redirected to the parish of Milton Damerel.
