Winterbourne Gunner is a village in Wiltshire, England, about 4 miles (6 km) northeast of Salisbury. The village is near the River Bourne and the A338 road and is close to Winterbourne Dantsey. It is part of the civil parish of Winterbourne, formed in 1934 by almalgamating the three ancient parishes of Winterbourne Earls, Winterbourne Dantsey and Winterbourne Gunner.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Winterbourne Gunner from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"WINTERBOURNE-GUNNER, a parish in Amesbury [registration] district, Wilts; 1 mile SSW of Porton [railway] station, and 4½ NNE of Salisbury. Post town: Salisbury. Acres: 1,562. Rated property: £1,080. Population: 150. Houses: 31. The manor belonged, in the time of Henry III., to Henry Delamere; and it took its suffix name of Gunner from his wife Gunnora. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Salisbury. Value: £235. Patron: not reported. The church was repaired in 1810. There is a Wesleyan chapel."
