Winona County is a county located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of 2010, the population was 51,461. Its county seat is Winona.
Although its population exceeded 50,000 in the 2010 census, Winona County still belongs to the Winona, MN Micropolitan Statistical Area. Winona County could receive Metropolitan Statistical Area status when the OMB issues new definitions in 2013.
