Weymouth and Melcombe Regis was originally a borough in Dorset, England. It was formed by a charter of Elizabeth I (Elizabeth Tudor), amalgamating the towns of Weymouth and Melcombe Regis in 1571.

The towns continued to send the same number of Members of Parliament to the unreformed House of Commons as they had before the merger - two for each. In 1832 with the passing of Reform Act the borough was stripped of its double representation and reduced to two seats. It ceased to be a parliamentary borough from 1885 when it was merged with the surrounding rural area to become the parliamentary constituency for South Dorset. The borough continued in existence, as a municipal borough until 1974, when it was merged, under the Local Government Act 1972, into the Weymouth and Portland District.
