West Lindsey is a local government district in Lincolnshire, England.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974, from the urban districts of Gainsborough and Market Rasen, along with Caistor Rural District to the northeast, Gainsborough Rural District to the west and Welton Rural District to the southeast, all of which were in the administrative county of Lindsey until it was abolished at the same time. The district council's offices are in Gainsborough.

West Lindsey covers an area of 446 sq mi (1,156 km2) and a mid-2014 estimate of its population was 91,787.
