Washington County is a county located in the U.S. state of Utah. Washington County is included in the St. George, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of 2000, the county's population was 90,354 and by 2005 was estimated at 118,885. Its county seat and largest city is St. George, Utah6. The county was named for the first President of the United States, George Washington. In March 2006 Washington County was declared the fifth fastest growing county in the United States.
