Waccabuc is a hamlet and lake in the town of Lewisboro, Westchester County, New York. Waccabuc was first established as a vacation home for the Mead family, for whom the core road of the hamlet, Mead Street, is named. Also in Waccabuc is the Mead Memorial Chapel which is included in the national register of historical places. The Mead family has entrusted the oversight of the Chapel and the adjoining library to McGrath Management Services Inc, headquartered in Bedford NY.
