Vernon Parish (French: Paroisse de Vernon) is a parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana. The parish seat is Leesville and in the 2010 census the population was 52,334, a decline of 197 persons from the 2000 tabulation of 52,531. The parish is 78 percent white.
Vernon Parish is part of the Fort Polk South Micropolitan Statistical Area as well as the Fort Polk South–DeRidder Combined Statistical Area.
