Vatersay is an island off the southern tip of Barra in the Outer Hebrides. Until 1975 the southern part of the Outer Hebrides was part of Inverness-shire.

Vatersay is part of the parish of Barra and the islands are joined by a causeway. There are three settlements on Vatersay: Vatersay, Caolas, and Uidh.
