Utah County is a county in the US state of Utah. As of the 2010 census, the population was 516,564, making it the second most populous county in Utah. The county seat and largest city is Provo, which is the third-largest city in the state. It was named for the Spanish name (Yuta) for the Ute Indians. The center of population of the state is located within this county, in the city of Lehi.

Utah County is part of the Provo-Orem Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as the Salt Lake CityOgdenClearfield Combined Statistical Area.

Utah County is one of seven counties in the United States to share the same name as their states (the other six counties are Arkansas County, Hawaii County, Idaho County, Iowa County, New York County, and Oklahoma County).
