Tolsta (Gael: Tolastadh), a locality on the east coast of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, is located to the west of Tolsta Head, 12 miles (19 km) northeast of the town of Stornoway. The primary settlement is the crofting township of North Tolsta (until the 1960s: South Tolsta), with the smaller township of New Tolsta (until the 1960s: North Tolsta) located just to the north. Glen Tolsta lies 1¼ miles (2 km) to the southwest. The settlement of Garry is also close by. All these smaller places have been redirected here.
