Springside is one of two villages located in the parish of Dreghorn, near Irvine in North Ayrshire, Scotland. It was formed from the hamlets of Bankhead, Corsehill, Kirklands, Springhill and Springside when the Post Office reorganised it's postal districts in the 1930's. The population is approx 1400. The villages of Springside and Dreghorn are now included within the Irvine Postal district.
