Southampton St. Laurence with St. John was an ecclesiastical parish formed in 1708 from the older parishes of Southampton St. Laurence and Southampton St. John. It was located to the west and the north of the older parishes of St. Michael, Holy Rood and St. Mary. Southampton St. Laurence (often spelled St. Lawrence) was also a civil parish until 1912 when all civil registration responsibilites were taken over by Southampton County Borough.
