Shiremanstown is a borough in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,569 at the 2010 census. William Bigler (January 11, 1814 – August 9, 1880), who was governor of Pennsylvania from 1852 to 1855, and later a U.S. Senator, was born in Shiremanstown.
