San José del Cabo (Saint Joseph of the Cape) is a city located in southern Baja California Sur state, Mexico. It is the seat of Los Cabos Municipality lying at a shallow bay northeast of Cabo San Lucas on the Gulf of California. The city has a population of 136,285 as of the 2020 Census.[1] San José del Cabo together with Cabo San Lucas are known as Los Cabos. Together they form a metropolitan area of 351,111 inhabitants.[1]

The two cities are served by Los Cabos International Airport.
