Lake RomeRock also known as Lake Roaming Rock was dug in 1966 deepening the canal of Rock Creek. Roaming Shores became a village on 5 July 1979. Part of it is in Morgan township and part is in Rome township. The part that is in Morgan township is ALSO in the Village of Rock Creek.
