Cemetery notes and/or description

Riverfield is a tiny crossroads in the southwest corner of Quebec, Canada in the Chateauguay Valley. It used to have it's own identity and post office, but now is legally part of the Parish of Tres-Saint-Sacrement in the MRC of Haut St-Laurent. It is located on Quebec Route 203, about 4 km southeast of the village of Howick.

The Riverfield Cemetery dates back to 1830 when it was established at the back of the school. Later it was controlled by the Riverfield Presbyterian Church until the early 1900s when control was transferred to an independent non-profit corporation, the Riverfield Cemetery Inc.

Howick was the closest town to Riverfield listed on this website.
