Pec pod Sněžkou is a town in Trutnov District in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants. It lies at the base of the highest Czech mountain, Sněžka, in the Giant Mountains. From the town a two-section cable car system leads to the top of Sněžka.
