Ovington is a civil parish in Norfolk, England. It covers an area of 6.44 km2 (2.49 sq mi) and had a population of 239 in 92 households at the 2001 UK census, increasing to a population of 256 in 101 households at the 2011 UK census. Since 1974 it has been located in the Breckland District.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Ovington from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1871-72:

"OVINGTON, a parish, with a village, in Wayland [registration] district, Norfolk; near the river Wissey and the Roman road to Caistor, 1½ mile N N E of Watton [railway] station. Post-town, Watton, under Thetford. Acres: 1,497. Real property: £2,875. Population: 291. Houses: 73. The property is much subdivided.
"The manor of Ovington-Bozomes belongs to the University of Cambridge; and the manor of Woodhouse belongs to R. J. H. Harvey, Esq. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich. Value: £415. Patron: the University of Cambridge. The church, which was recently restored, has a fine Norman door, and a tower. There are a Primitive Methodist chapel, and a fuel allotment £52."
