Nuthampstead is a small village and civil parish in the North Hertfordshire District of Hertfordshire, England a few miles south of the town of Royston. In the 2001 census the parish had 139 residents. It was created out of the eastern part of Barkway parish in 1866.
During the Second World War, RAF Nuthampstead, which is situated next to the village, was used by the 398th bombardment squadron to fly B17 Flying Fortresses over Europe.
