Netherlee is a small, affluent, middle class residential area (population 4,741) within East Renfrewshire, Scotland. Netherlee's close proximity to Glasgow effectively makes it a suburb of the city, though it remains administratively separate.

Its residents have a mainly professional background. Residence is much sought after and the area constantly attracts wealthy young families from all over Glasgow. As well as the quiet and comfortable lifestyle, another of the attractions is the area's proximity to Glasgow city centre (4 miles), 15 minutes by train from Muirend or Clarkston stations (on each side of the area),25 minutes by bus (routes 6 and 4) and 15 minutes by car.

Local businesses and amenities include clothing stores, newsagents, estate agents, hairdressers, florists, cafe's and fast food outlets. The district includes Williamwood Golf Club, which is private membership . The area also borders Linn Park which is a pretty mainly wooded area which includes walking trails, football pitches, and a public golf course.
