Moulin Morneault is located 3.12 km northeast of the village of Saint Jacques, on the road to Rang des Bossé in Saint Jacques Parish. Its borders reach into Saint Joseph Parish, Madawaska County. Pascal Morneault was a farmer here in 1866. He would appear to have built a mill (= moulin) for grinding cereals. The community was originally called Plourde Settlement.
