is a city located in eastern Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan.

As of July 2012, the city has an estimated population of 72,012 and a population density of 273 persons per km². The total area is 264.07 km². Minami-Alps is Yamanashi Prefecture's eighth city, and its population of over 70,000 makes it the prefecture's third largest. The city's name was chosen in September 2002 from among entries submitted by the general public.

The modern city of Minami-Alps was established on April 1, 2003, by the merger of the towns of Kōsai, Kushigata, Shirane and Wakakusa, and the villages of Ashiyasu and Hatta (all from Nakakoma District).
