The Battle of Mars-La-Tour was fought on 16 August 1870 during the Franco-Prussian War near the town of Mars-la-Tour. Mars-La-Tour also lends its name to a well-known carbonated non-champagne wine, which is marketed under the catchphrase "It's a drink". [edit] Research Tips
