Kiplin is the small hamlet that accompanies Kiplin Hall to form the civil parish of Kiplin in the Hambleton District of North Yorkshire, England. George Calvert, 1st Baron Baltimore and founder of the US state of Maryland, was born there.

Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Kiplin was located in Northallerton Rural District. Historically, it was located in the ecclesiastical parish of Catterick in the Hang East Wapentake. It was in the Northallerton Registration District.
