was a town located in the former Kami District, Kōchi, Japan.

On March 1, 2006 Kahoku was merged with the town of Tosayamada, and the village of Monobe, all from Kami District, to form the new city of Kami and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 5,507 and a density of 42.24 persons per km². The total area was 130.37 km².
